International Center for Climate and Environments Sciences (ICCES), IAP, CAS, presents its compliments and has the honour to submit that ICCES, together with Peking University, is organizing the 14th CTWF, Data Assimilation Summer School (July 1-3), and Coupled Data Assimilation Symposium (July 5-8). The first announcement of the above-mentioned event is attached herewith as Annex-1.
"CAS-TWAS-WMO Forum" (CTWF) was jointly proposed and founded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), for the advancement of science in developing countries and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 2000. It is committed to bringing together high level experienced mathematicians, physicists, atmospheric and oceanic scientists to exchange ideas, discuss scientific problems in depth and develop suitable solving methods by joint efforts .
